The Finance and Capital Market Conference 2011

The conference focuses on the global economy and its effects on the financial markets around the world in general, and in Israel in particular. As a small, export-oriented economy, Israel is especially linked to global economies, notably those of the US and Europe are its main markets.

Israel's business elite views the challenges and opportunities in the markets, and seek alternative responses to a period of global recession. Topics that were discussed in the past included:
Challenges facing the banking and insurance industries over the coming year, including mutual, provident, pension, and other funds

  • The credit crisis
  • Financial tools and products that are best suited to the current economy
  • The warning signs ahead of the collapse – where were they? Were they ignored?
  • What lies ahead for financial institutions - and for financial markets?

The participants at the conference will include Israel's business leaders, bankers, institutional and private investors, credit, fund and foreign currency managers, as well as leading analysts and economists.
